Case Study

Younger Homes

Younger Homes, an Austin-based custom builder, joined our unique Collaborative Marketing Program to create powerful marketing assets for both the builder and their industry partners. Our team at NewHomeContent guided the project from start to finish, managing all details so the process was easy and hassle-free. The client’s reaction said it all, we truly knocked it out of the park.

Below is a real-world example of how this collaboration produced premium consumer-facing content, authentic builder-to-builder messaging, and long-term assets for participating industry partners.

“I just can’t say it enough, I’m just blown away! I feel like this is such a great start to something great with other vendors in the future!”

Asset #1

A promotional video for the builder.  Focusing on the home and/or community. In this instance the builder chose to promote their company and the custom home they had just built. Appropriately, this builder chose to be on-camera. For larger builders we recommend a company marketing representative or a division president to be on-camera.  Note that near the end, the builder seamlessly mentions the contributing partners as a thanks for their participation in this project. Both the builder and the industry partners can use all of these videos in any way they wish. This longer version was then divided into shorter vertically formatted versions for social media.

Asset #2

Partner Testimonial. After the builder was interviewed, we then took the time to get a sincere testimonial for the partners. This is one of the deliverables promised to each industry partner as part of their participation, but again these videos are of use to both the builder and the industry partner, making it truly a win/win.

Asset #3

A partner Deep Dive video. This video allows the industry partner to promote their product directly to the consumer through the lens of the builder. Not only are they in the builder's home, but all of these segments will be distributed via the builder's social media, further solidifying their relationship with the builder in the customer’s eyes

Asset #4

Inclusion in the builder's 3D Matterport tour.  Not only does the builder receive a Matterport tour as part of the package, each participating industry partner is featured within that Matterport Tour.  Matterport tours have become one of the first stops a potential customer visits when exploring a builder's listing, making these hot spots front-line exposure. This again reinforces the partner’s role as a trusted part of the builder’s story.

Asset #5

Shared social media exposure.   All of the video segments will be shared via both the builder and the industry partner's social media. From a builder perspective this represents three media distribution channels they would normally not have access to. From an industry partner standpoint, not only are they getting the additional exposure from the builder, they are once again solidifying their partnership with the builder in the eyes of the consumer.

Asset #6

Shared Rights.  Both the builder and their industry partner share full rights to use this commercial quality footage as they wish. Including re-edits and access to raw footage.

Additional Builder Assets

Because this is a "Go-to-Market Asset Package" The builder also receives the following assets as part of their deliverables, ensuring that everything they need to bring a new home to market is covered via their partner relationships.

Still Photography

Still photography is an area where builder's need to be very selective and often have their own preferred photographers. That is why although the cost of photography is covered via our "Go-to-Market Asset Package" we encourage the builder to use a photographer of their choosing.

Drone Photography

Because we are already shooting drone video for the builder promo video, it just makes sense to include a separate drone video and drone stills as part of our final deliverables.

Go-To-Market Asset Package Summary

This program was designed to be truly a win/win for both the builder and their industry partners. Rather than relying on a traditional sponsorship approach, we created a structure where both sides receive tangible marketing value. Most partners will likely create videos of their own this year, so why not create content that also helps their builder succeed? To summarize, below is a list of what each party receives.

Finally a Win/Win!
